Just Had To Tell You.......

Okay, I know, I really need to get busy with Thanksgiving stuff. But, I dropped by the STS Forum to find a fabulous NSD Challenge going on today and tomorrow Noon MST. It's a Brag Book Exchange. You create at least one BB page using The Scrappy Kat's kit Holly Jolly Christmas (which is a freebie at the forum). Upload and send her the png file and you in return get lots of pages back. Now, I'm super excited about this because I think I'm going to use the BB pages for grandparents and for my daughters birth family! Take a look at the kit:

Dang cute, wouldn't you say!

Now, onto Gratitude. Seriously ya'll......thank you so much! You are all so wonderful. Your well wishes are much appreciated! Definitely feeling better today. Just wish I didn't have a stuffy nose! If any of you out there make layouts with any of my kits, I would LOVE to see them! Leave me a comment with the link. I'd be super duper happy to check them out!

Also, while you're at it, on the right hand side of my blog is a Follow Me. I'd LOVE for you to follow me too. Leave me a note that you are a follower or add me as a follower and I'll have a drawing for a gift certificate for a kit from my store. I'll do the drawing on Sunday night (Nov. 22nd). So, follow me!

Anyway, since I felt better today, I was able to get a couple of layouts done. Here they are:

This next one was done for todays NSD challenge over at the Stuff To Scrap Forum. The challenge was to do something you normally wouldn't do on a layout. So, I used a photo as a matte and then used a photo to create the word "Beast". Just wanted to explain that so you didn't all think I was crazy!

Okay, on to the Alpha. Here it is! I've included with the Alpha several different things to hang your alpha from. There are stitches, backwards brads, and chains. Hope you like it! Enjoy! Click on the image to download.

Speed Scrap and a New Freebie Collab Kit--Well Kind of

There's a Speed Scrap tomorrow. Here are the details.

Flyer linked to the forum

Beautiful Participation prize:

Well, I have a funny story to share with you that goes along with this new kit. Several Weeks ago De aka Flower Scraps and I decided to do a collab. I sent her over some color swatches along with some possible names of kits. Well, there were two color swatches with the same name a Gratitude and a Gratitude 2. She wrote back and said she really like the Gratitude colors and thought we should go with that. Sounded good to me, so we both went on our merry ways creating our kits. Well, she sent me her previews and I wasn't quite done with my kit so I didn't look. I didn't want her previews to persuade me into changing what I already had done. Once I was done, I finally pulled up her previews and kept looking at it. Something was different. I couldn't figure out how she could have gotten some of the colors of her papers and elements with the colors we were using. It finally dawned on me to go take a peak at all the color swatches I sent to her. Well, I looked and realized that I used the Gratitude 1 swatch and she used the Gratitude 2 swatch. I just sat there and laughed and laughed! To me it was so funny. So, while this is meant to be a collab, it's actually ended up being two separate kits with the same name. Too funny!

Having just said all of that, I present to you Gratitude. First take a look at the beautiful layouts my CT has created.

And Mine
Take a look at my full kit preview
And Here's Flower Scraps. Isn't it beautiful! Similar colors, yet completely different! Click on her preview to head to her blog to download. If it's not quite up yet, be patient!

Progressive Scrap at Stuff To Scrap

Hi all! Lori (Scraps N Pieces) is in charge of the challenge a day today at Stuff to Scrap. Today's challenge is a progressive scrap. Kind of like a progressive dinner if you have ever done one of those, where you eat a different course at different peoples house. Well, you are going to pick up parts of this kit called Oh Happy Day at different people's blogs! You must use at least 1 item from each stop in your layout. Post your layout to the Day 14 challenge thread in the forum and also in the gallery by midnight on Sunday the 15th. You actually get 2 days to do this one since it requires a little extra downloading work. Have fun. You can get my part by clicking on the preview to download and the rest of the stops are listed here.
